* The Han(Kan), in other word Buru(Poong Ryu) philosophy (three into the one) was wide spread throughout Asia long before and it had influenced on Eu()/Confucianism, Bul()/Buddhism, and Sun()/Taoism. During the three-kingdom-period in ancient Korea the Han(Kan) philosophy and the martial arts had integrated with Buddhism created new cultural code called Poong Ryu culture. In the ideal of the new Poong Ryu culture were; one (three into the one), the middle way(中道), harmony, and beyond self.

* The Poong Ryu Hwa Rang warriors of Silla, Su Sa Do warriors of Baekjae, and Cho Eui Sun in Koguryo, those groups of elite worriors in the societies were trained based on the Poong Ryu culture to strengthen body and mind together as well as their martial arts skills. The Poong Ryu culture has continued its internal evolution. Especially today the grandmaster kang Tae Won have put the acient Poong Ryu into the ‘Intergrative Zen Practice’ in order to help people those who seek for the balance in body and mind and the spiritual growth.

Poong Ryu Do is the archetype of the spiritual and physical practice in which Korean people's unique 현묘지도[玄妙之道]is delivered in an integrated system with Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism. Poong Ryu Do[P.R.D] refers to Buru, the archetype of the Korean people's unique practice culture, cultivating artistic aesthetics and cultivating the mind by taking the nature[ ~the land, water, fire, and wind].

As Poong Ryu Do, the secretary of Choe Chi-Won-in of Silla, the secretary of Nanrang Tombstone in Hwarang-do originated from Buru Pug Ryu Do on the Silla[57BC-935AD]dynasty. Poong Ryu culture had a integrated system in which Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism were fused with each other in the Silla Three Kingdoms period.

This was a traditional practice of our own ancient practice methods [삼일 징심법 三一澄心法], which has been passed down since the ancient times.

Buru Poong Ryu Do is the reinterpretation and establishment of the culture of Pungryu (Buru), the archetype of Korean practice culture that has been come from since before the ancient Three Kingdoms (Goguryeo, Baekje, Silla) as a cultural value system of the 21st century.

It has been reconstructed as a national gesture based on the practice of Zen (dhyāna; Zen) of the ancient Buddhism(瑜伽Yogācāra;The bodhisattva Maitreya and disciples, a central figure in Yogacara origin myth. Gandhara, 3rd century CE.), and has a system of practical practice culture archetypes in which the warriors are united.

This is the discovery, restoration, and establishment of the archetype of the Poong Ryu[wind-flow]cultivation culture of the traditional meditation technique[삼일징심법 三一澄心法 Three into the one].

It is a culture of 해혹 복본 징심수행[解惑復本's 澄心修行], which solves the delusion and returns into the root through nature-hood that the experience is practiced with the body and the awake-ness deeply practiced with the mind.

In P.R.D, the three-legged crow [Golden Crow] has was a symbol for practice method in which the three characteristics into the one that can be seen in the mural painting of a dragon and a phoenix. It is a Korean Goguryeo period mural-Muyeong Tomb.

Golden Crow was the symbol of the sun in ancient Buru culture. The sun[=Golden Crow] culture had was a symbol for center principle of Poong Ryu[=Buru] culture.

The Poong Ryu Do people were friends of the wind, the river, the mountains[with the nature], discovering true freedom and enjoying.

Pungryu-do has repeatedly changed its appearance from the unique meditation culture of the nation to the subtle texts of the enormous former personalities.

Now, The program of The Poong Ryu Do practice is an integrated public Ganhwaseon[Zen of Korea] practice system that embodies and makes life awake through the integrated practice with Zen meditation, Yoga, and Zen dance.

Zen meditation; Gong An Zen Practice

Yoga[buddhayoga]; Systematized mindfulness-yoga based on Mudra practice Zen-dance[D.D.M; Dhyana Dance for Meditation; Dhyana=Seon=Zen]

We look for a new cultural alternative to the flow of Korean culture in the 21st century in the archetype of the spiritual practice culture.
